Brave, Bold & Beautiful Private Limited, which is the new Nepali franchise for Miss Universe Nepal (MUN) has launched the Miss Universe Nepal 2020 app calling for inclusive participation of women in pageant.
Nagma Shrestha, who is the founder of Brave, Bold & Beautiful and the Miss Universe Nepal 2017 had announced the launch of the MUN app in ” The Nagmatic Show”, live on AP1 HD on 8 October Thursday. She also announced the MUN winner to be awarded the grand prize of 10 Lakhs thereby making it the most rewarding beauty pageant in Nepal.
The Miss Universe Nepal app has already been launched on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It allows the first 20 contestants to register for free whilst charging NPR 1,000 in Nepal and $50 ex-Nepal to the next 5,000 contestants each.
Both application and registration for the pageant were announced on the live show featuring guest appearances and video contributions of all Miss Universe Nepal 2020 Ambassadors.
The beauty pageant looks forward to establishing a new norm for beauty pageants in Nepal with exemplary inclusivity while setting an example for diversity not just in terms of gender/sexual orientation but also in terms of height, weight, or other physical attributes, which makes it one of its kind in the world.
The pageant is incredibly rewarding as well as carries the torch forward for inclusive pageants on earth.
In “The Nagmatic Show”, Nagma Shrestha also said,” Pageantry shouldn’t be a privilege for a few people rather it should be an opportunity for many people.” The app-based preliminary round competitions include 100% voting.
Ever since the registration was announced the app has already received an overwhelming 1500+ registered users and 100+ hopefuls in the application process.
