The all-new Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI Street Rally is now available at Rs. 2,54,900 in Nepal to compete in one of the most competitive segments in the market.
The all-new 125cc BS6 variant replaces the outgoing 110cc model and it’s based on the “Armored Energy” concept making the scooter appear sportier and tougher than before. The Yamaha Ray ZR 125 also gets the new “Y” shaped LED DRLs, a digital instrument cluster, tough-looking sporty headlights, a brush guard, two-level seats, and a new livery.
The scooter borrows the same 125cc fuel-injected engine from the new Fascino 125 FI. This engine churns out 8.2PS at 6,500 rpm and 9.7Nm of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. The power output is 30% and the fuel economy is 16% higher than the previous model. It has new features like ‘Quiet Engine Start’ and side stand engine cutoff. The scooter offers a mileage of 58kmpl, while it gets the telescopic fork up front and a single shock absorber at the rear.
The top-end variant has a drum brake setup with UBS (Unified Braking System). It weighs only 99kg making it the lightest 125cc scooter in its segment.
