Oppo’s K series has a new member today, it’s the Oppo K7x which brings a 90Hz screen and MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset with support for 5G networks.
Starting with that display, it’s a 6.5-inch FullHD+ LCD panel that supports 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The screen’s pixel density max out at 405 ppi and has a peak brightness of 600 nits.
Right underneath is the Dimensity 720 chipset that goes with 6GB of RAM. There’s ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 running out of the box, while you’ll get 128GB of storage onboard.
The Oppo K7x brings a total of five cameras — a 48MP primary camera at the back accompanied by 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and depth sensor, while selfies are taken care of by a 16MP shooter at the front.
There’s no under-display fingerprint scanner, instead, it’s mounted at the side; and then the phone also brings Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-mode 5G.
Powering this phone is a mammoth 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Put these specs altogether and the K7x sounds like a rebranded Realme V5 5G.
The Oppo K7x is already available for pre-booking in China with sales starting from November 11. The phone can be purchased for CNY 1,499 (~NPR 27,000), but for a limited period, it’s available for CNY 1,399 (~NPR 26,000).
