Redmi’s first smartwatch has been officially launched, and it is, without any doubt, named Redmi Watch. It brings a rectangular body with features like a heart rate sensor, fitness tracker, and sleep tracking all in all at an affordable price tag.
The Redmi Watch has a 1.4-inch color display with 320 x 320-pixel resolution with 2.5D glass. There are three color options to choose from, including black, white, and navy blue, while the watch strap is made of silicone with matching color as well as pink and green options.
You get over 120+ watch faces which are customizable from the Mi Fit app. The watch also supports other sports modes and connects over Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and NFC. It’s also waterproof at up to 50m depth and weighs around 35 grams.
The watch’s endurance sits at 7 days at normal and 12 days with the power-saving mode on. The watch charges over its own cradle with a full charge taking up to 2 hours.
As for the pricing, the Redmi Watch is competitively priced at CNY 299 (~NPR 5,372) during the offer period in China. Sales will kick off from December 1, but we are yet to know about its international availability and Nepal. However, if in case the Redmi Watch launches in Nepal, expect its price to be around NPR 7,000.
