Samsung has come up with an update on its official Malaysian website showing off the latest One UI 3.0 developments including November launch, interfaces, Good Lock, and full-screen video calls.
The One UI 3.0 update could hit the Galaxy S20 lineup in the first allotment alongside the likes of Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Tab.
Samsung has revamped the Quick Panel integrating Android 11 multimedia controls with smooth switching among several multimedia sources and controls. Similarly, categories in the Dynamic lock screen are doubled while the selection maxes out to 10.
The Galaxy Fold devices — Galaxy Fold/Z Fold 2 and Tabs — Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ will also receive several fresh upgrades albeit multi-active window feature is already old — seen in Galaxy Z Fold 2 from the launch. The Galaxy Fold will finally get a dual preview and rear camera selfie features while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will get a new view adjustment — outer screen to inner screen and vice-versa.
The new Good Lock has Wonderland for creating wallpapers that move according to the device’s motion and Pentastic for customizing S Pen Air commands as well as a pointer and associated sound settings. However, the Good Lock does have regional restrictions.
The first One UI 3.0 OTA packages could ship in a few days. Also, if the September beta changelog leak has anything to believe, we just peeked at a smaller portion of upgrades hitting new UI 3.0.
