HMD Global has announced the mid-range Nokia 5.4, a new successor to Nokia 5.3 that was released back in April 2020 in Nepal. Though smaller than the predecessor, this one brings in a major upgrade in the camera modules, both in the back and front whilst the battery remains the same.
Now, let’s look at a quick overview of the Nokia 5.4 followed by the launch price.
Nokia 5.4 Overview
Nokia 5.4 comes with a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The device runs on Android 10 and powers on a Snapdragon 662 processor with an octa-core CPU that goes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB onboard storage expandable via dedicated microSDXC slot. It uses Adreno 610 for graphical processing.
At the back of the device lies a quad-camera arrangement comprising a 48MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors, while at the front is a single 16MP wide shooter for selfies.
For connectivity, it uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC (market/region dependent), USB Type-C 2.0, FM radio, and hence a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Again, the handset carries a 4,000mAh non-removable battery with 10W charging that keeps its lights on.
The phone is set to retail in Europe for a price starting at €189. Also, it will launch in India, North America, and South America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia as well.
In Nepal, Nokia 5.4 could start at a price of NPR 28,500 or more. However, there’s no official news yet.
