Nvidia’s 3000 series lineup has a new member today, it’s the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti that will go for $399, making it the company’s most affordable option in this segment. The newly launched card is said to outperform last generation’s RTX 2080 and 2080 Super. To put in numbers, Nvidia states that it will be 40 percent faster than the RTX 2060 Super.
The RTX 3060 Ti will go on sale worldwide starting from December 2nd for a price of $399 in the US, £369 in the UK, and €348 in Europe. Aesthetically speaking, the card is no different from the RTX 3070 with similar measurements and a dual-fan setup.
The RTX 3060 Ti brings 8GB of video memory with a base clock of 1410MHz, and a boost clock of 1665MHz. It has a dual-slot design with Nvidia’s new 12-pin power connector. Nvidia says that you need a 600W of power supply for this one as the card can pull up to 200 watts of power.
Besides that, it’s also capable of real-time ray tracing like other RTX 3000 series cards and will come with DLSS support and be able to run RTX apps. The Founders Edition will be available from December 2, while other AIB partners will come with their own variants as well.
