Samsung will most likely announce the new Galaxy S21 lineup next month. And LetsGoDigital has already published some renders that it claims to be near-identical to what the upcoming offerings — Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 — will look like.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the only device in the lineup which is made up of glass on both the front and the back.
The rear camera module has four camera units — a 108MP HM3 sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and two 10MP zoom units alongside an LED flash, and the new ISOCell Vizion 3D ToF sensor. The HM3 sensor is accredited to enhancement in light sensitivity by 12%. As for the zoom units, one is a periscope lens with 10x optical zoom while the other is subjected to 3x optical zoom. Similarly, at the front lies a single 40MP selfie shooter.
S21 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch screen with a refresh rate that goes up to 120Hz. And this could be the first Samsung device with a display offering 1440p resolution together with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will most probably ship in two different variants — one with Snapdragon 888 processor for Korean, Chinese, and US markets and another with an Exynos 2100 chip for the rest of the world, both paired with 12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/512GB onboard storage. Again, both variants support the latest 5G technology.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra carries a 5,000mAh cell with 25W fast charge support. It’ll be available in two different colors — Phantom Black and Phantom Silver colors.
Samsung Galaxy S21+
The Galaxy S21+ will get a 6.7-inch 1080p flat AMOLED screen with a constant 120Hz refresh rate. This one has a plastic back surrounded by metal on all sides.
It has a triple camera setup at the back including a couple of 12MP main and ultrawide units and a 64MP lens with 3x hybrid zoom. While the LED flash is not included in the camera island itself.
As for the battery, S21+ will come with a 4,800mAh cell up from 4,500mAh seen in S20+ whilst keeps the same 25W fast charge support.
Alike S21 Ultra, it’ll ship in two variants as well — SD 888 and Exynos 2100, both supporting 5G. And it’ll be available in three different colors — Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Violet.
Samsung Galaxy S21
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is similar to the S21 Ultra in terms of cameras and the S21+ in terms of build and display, i.e. flat screen with a back panel made up of plastic and 1080p resolution with a constant 120Hz refresh rate. However, the base variant will come with 8GB RAM.
It’ll ship in four different colors — Phantom Gray, Phantom White, Phantom Violet, and Phantom Pink.
