Original, 15 January 2021 [06:39 PM NPT]: Vivo is set to debut its first mid-ranger of 2021 in Nepal, it’s the Vivo Y51. The phone has pretty impressive specs on board, including a massive battery and an impressive triple-camera.
One of the few eye-catching features has to be the phone’s memory configuration — the phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB variant, which is ample for multitasking and storage.
It’s quite evident that Vivo as of late has been putting more emphasis on its camera tech, and the Y51 seems like a part of it. It has a triple-camera setup at the back that includes a 48MP main sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. And since it’s Vivo, the phone comes with some handy software trick, including shooting modes for day and night photography.
We have Snapdragon 665 chipset underneath, while the phone boots on Funtouch 11 layered on top of Android 11 out of the box.
To back this up, the phone offers a massive 5,000mAh battery inside with 18W fast charging carried via a USB-C port. Another noticeable feature of this phone is a fingerprint scanner which is placed on the side for ease of access.
