Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 12 update is now hitting its affordable lineups. The current lineup to get the MIUI 12 update is the Redmi 8, 8A, and 7A. Although all three devices are yet to see the latest Android version, Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 update brings plethoras of new features.
The Redmi 8’s Global, EEA, and Russian variants are currently the ones getting the MIUI 12 update, whilst the Redmi 8A’s Chinese and EEA units are receiving the update. The firmware on these phones is still in the Stable Beta stages except the Redmi 8 which is receiving the final and stable version.
On the other hand, the Redmi 7A in India is getting the taste of MIUI 12, which is again the Stable Beta version of the software, but it won’t be long before it starts receiving the final update as well.
As for Nepal, the Redmi 8 is getting the final update of the MIUI 12, which should hit the device within a few weeks.
