The Benelli 180s is up for pre-booking in Nepal. While it is already available in the nearest Benelli showroom for you to take a free test ride, it’s slated to launch anytime starting April 2021.
The Benelli 180s comes with a race-derived chassis and a lightweight yet powerful build. As its tagline “The Thrill of the Hunt” goes, the design does seem exciting and pleasurable for anyone searching for the same.
Moving on, the naked bike has a B3SP engine whilst keeping the Italian touch with displacement number to 175.3cc. For better combustion and performance, it relies on a 3-spark plus engine. Furthermore, it has an LED headlights and sidelights, and digital instrumentation, which displays all important information at a glance.
We are looking at a 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine for superior horsepower, torque, compression-ratio, and efficiency with the single-cylinder engine delivering power up to 18 bhp at 9500rpm and torque up to 14.5 Nm at 7000rpm. Also, we have an electronic fuel injection system and a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. The exhaust system has an oxygen sensor as well whilst the motorbike uses a wet multi-plate clutch and an only-electric starting mechanism.
The fuel tank lets up to 10 liters of fuel, the unit of which is said to be consumed every 40km.
The Benelli 180s features an Arch Bar Truck frame comprising a Telescopic Forks suspension at the front with 110mm stroke and a Swingarm suspension at the rear with 50mm stroke.
The motorcycle has a disc braking system — 260mm disc and 220mm in the front and rear tires respectively.
