Xiaomi Nepal is set to debut its first phone of 2021 in Nepal — it’s the Redmi 9 Power, which was launched a couple of months ago in India.
The news comes after Xiaomi Nepal posted a teaser on their Facebook page that says “The Power Packed Redmi is coming soon. Stay tuned!” which clearly points out the upcoming Redmi phone, though it doesn’t mention the launch date.
The Redmi 9 Power flaunts a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio underneath Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Running on MIUI 12 skin atop the Android 10 operating system, it rocks an 11nm based Snapdragon 662 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB onboard storage expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot.
It carries a quad-camera setup at the back comprising 48MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors while a single 8MP wide sensor at the front for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, infrared port, USB Type-C 2.0, FM radio, and hence a 3.5mm audio jack.
The handset has a 6,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charge and a 2.5W reverse charge support.
