Released back in December 2020 in China, the Amazfit GTR 2e and the Amazfit GTS 2e have finally launched in Nepal. Both smartwatches come with a 2.5D curved surface borderless design, a BioTracker 2 PPG with blood oxygen saturation, PAI Health Assessment System, and 90 built-in sports modes with smart recognition.
Here we will take a brief overview of both the smartwatches followed by their prices in Nepal and availability.
Amazfit GTR 2e Overview
The GTR 2e comes with a round dial and two buttons at the right built with aluminum alloy. There is a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution that translates to around 326ppi density underneath the tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coat.
Similarly, a 471mAh battery keeps the lights on, which reportedly lasts for 24 days under typical, 45 days under basic, and 12 days under heavy usage.
With regard to health, the Amazfit GTR 2e has a PAI Health Assessment System, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, sleep quality monitoring, BioTracker 2 PPG with blood oxygen support, as well as stress monitoring. You even get 90 built-in sports modes with smart recognition, incoming call notification, and an offline voice assistant.
The smartwatch has Bluetooth 5.0 and also supports the Zepp application available across Android 5.0 and iOS 10.0 and higher. It has a 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, air pressure sensor, and temperature sensor.
It’s water-resistant up to 5ATM and weighs 32 grams.

Amazfit GTS 2e Overview
The GTS 2e comes with a rectangular footprint and a single button at the right built with aluminum alloy. There is a 1.65-inch AMOLED display with 442 x 348 pixels resolution that translates to around 341ppi density, which lies underneath the tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coat.
This one has a 246mAh cell, which, as claimed lasts 14 days under typical, 24 days under basic, and 7 days under heavy usage.
Weighing 25 grams and rated for water resistance up to 5ATM, the Amazfit GTS 2e shares all the other health sensors as in the Amazfit GTR 2e.
Again, the sensors incorporated are gyroscope, accelerometer, geomagnetic, ambient light, air pressure, and temperature sensors. It also uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
