The Coolpad Cool 10, launched a couple of months ago in Nepal, is getting a new storage variant with some improvements to offer, mainly in the camera department.
Prior to this, the phone was available with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage in Nepal; now it’s available in a 128GB storage variant. This should be convenient for those looking to store more images and videos without any hassle.
While the rest of the specs are unchanged, Coolpad says the new storage variant brings much-needed improvement in terms of camera performance. Although we don’t expect a substantial change since it’s the same camera hardware, it’s quite good to know Coolpad’s openness for improvement and feedback.
Regarding the camera specs, the Cool 10 offers a triple-camera setup at the rear including a 16MP main sensor and two 0.3MP depth and macro helpers.
The front has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a teardrop notch for an 8MP selfie camera.
Barring the camera, the Coolpad Cool 10 has a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset which performed pretty well in our testing (check our review below). It managed to play heavy titles like PUBG with barely any lag, albeit in HD resolution.
- Display: 6.52-inch HD+ ; 720 x 1560 pixel resolution
- Memory: 4GB RAM / 64GB or 128GB storage
- CPU: Helio P60 OctaCore (12nm); 4x Cortex-A73 @ 2.0GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 @ 2.0GHz
- GPU: Mali-G72 MP3
- Rear Camera: 16MP wide, PDAF + 0.3MP depth + 0.3MP macro
- Selfie Camera: 8MP
- OS: Android 10
- Battery: 5,000mAh; Type-C port; 10W charging
And to top it all off, the phone’s impressive 5,000mAh battery handles any vigorous day-to-day task like a champ. Again, you’ll have to watch our review to see how the battery performs.
