MNS Investments buys HamroBazar, announcing co-founder and CEO of FoodMario as the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
About HamroBazar, it’s the leading online classified marketplace of Nepal. And anyone can create an account and post a product advertisement on the platform for free. Buyers, on the other hand, can bid their purchase price or buying proposal in the comments.
MNS, in its official statement, stated “We have always marveled at how HamroBazar has remained the unquestioned leader of Nepal’s digital marketplace, and we believe we can take the company to even greater heights.”
It further affirms to synergies the strengths of HamroBazar and MNS thereby contribute to the overall growth of Nepal’s digital marketplace.
Whilst Mr. Prabal Saakha, Founder of HamroBazar expressed his happiness on the acquirement and wrote how the entire team of HamroBazar worked over the years to become the market leader. He added, “I’m especially grateful that this deal has been made with MNS because the team spearheading its ecosystem of diverse tech-enabled companies practices a dynamic management style that is perfect for unleashing HamroBazar’s true potential. I’m confident that MNS is the ideal steward for leading HamroBazar into the future.”
FoodMario had its own share of the words that stated, “With MNS Investments acquiring HamroBazar to take Nepal’s digital marketplace to greater heights — Foodmario has also expanded its mission and become a part of HamroBazar. Subsequently, HamroBazar will now be led by our Co-founder and CEO, Mr. Rohit Tiwari. We are extremely excited about two teams becoming one.”
Hopefully, we now will get to see a lot cleaner user interface in HamroBazar, followed by automation wherever needed and managed categorizations across the website.
