Released back in December 2020, Samsung’s A-series phone, Galaxy A12 has arrived in Nepal. This one comes with a 6.5-inch PLS IPS panel, MediaTek chipset, 48MP primary camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 5,000mAh cell with 15W fast charge support.

The Galaxy A12 flaunts a 6.5-inch PLS IPS display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio that translates to around 270ppi density.
Weirdly enough the phone powers on MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset and ships with Android 10 out of the box. The phone comes in three different memory varieties — 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. However, only the 4/64GB and 4/128GB variant is available in Nepal.
Moving on to the cameras, we get a quad-camera setup at the back that comprises a 48MP wide, a 5MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is an LED flash right underneath the rectangular camera setup.
At the front lies a single f/2.2 8MP selfie shooter housed inside a dewdrop notch.
Also, both the rear and front cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
The Galaxy A12 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC (market/region dependent), USB Type-C 2.0, FM radio, and hence a 3.5mm headphone jack.
A non-removable 5,000mAh cell keeps the lights on whilst supports 15W fast charging as well.
