Xiaomi has expanded its wearable lineups with the launch of Mi Watch Lite in Nepal. This one brings pretty much similar specs to the Redmi Watch, which made its way in China a couple of months ago.
It gets a 1.4-inch color touchscreen with 320 x 320-pixel resolution with the auto-brightness feature. The smartwatch brings over 120 watch faces out of the box, allowing you to choose between what information you want on the screen.
Much like the Redmi Watch, this one also has an automatic step counter and 11 workout modes — Outdoor Cycling, Outdoor Running, Indoor Cycling, Open Water Swimming (it is 5ATM water-resistant), Treadmill, Pool Swimming, Freestyle, Trekking, Trail Run, Walking, and even Cricket.
On top of that, there’s sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and guided breathing for lowering your stress levels. And like most other smartwatches out there, the Mi Watch Lite supports incoming call, SMS, and app notification alerts, music control, phone finder, idle alerts, and weather report.
The watch also gets GPS, which is absent from the Redmi Watch, alongside GLONASS and a Barometer.
For power, the smartwatch has a 230mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims can last up to nine days (we still have to see if the claim is true). But even though you drain it, you can charge with the bundled dock in two hours.
As for the aesthetics, Xiaomi is offering three watch cases and five straps: Pink, Black, Ivory, Navy Blue, and Olive.
