Announced back on April 8, Nokia G20 finally makes its way to the Nepalese market. This low mid-ranger carries an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a quad-camera module at the back, Helio G35 chipset, and a 5,050mAh battery.
Let’s take a brief overview of the new Nokia G20 followed by its price in Nepal and availability.
Nokia G20 Overview
The Nokia G20 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Running on Android 11 OS, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor based on 12nm fabrication paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage; expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. There is a PowerVR GE8320 unit to take care of the graphics.
As for the cameras, the device has a quad-camera setup at the back in a circular protruded module that includes an f/1.8 48MP wide sensor with PDAF, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a couple of macro and depth units, 2MP each. The rear module gets an LED flash and supports HDR and panorama as well.
Similarly, at the front is a single 8MP wide sensor for selfies. It’s capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
For connectivity, the Nokia G20 uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP and LE, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0 with USB On-The-Go, FM radio, and hence a 3.5mm jack. The sensors included are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, and proximity.
The device gets a 5,050mAh battery with 10W charging to keep its lights on. It’s available in Glacier and Night color options.
