Xiaomi’s been on the trot of unveiling smartphones one after another in the Nepalese market. After launching the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro, the company has now taken the wrap off the new Redmi Note 10S. And as the name suggests, it’s just yet another variant of Redmi Note 10 (it has a similar design) but with different hardware out of the box.
The Redmi Note 10S has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED panel, the same 5,000mAh battery with the same 33W charging support.
However, what makes it different from the vanilla Note 10 is at the rear — the phone has a 64MP f/1.8 main camera instead of the 48MP on the Note 10. The rest of the modules are the same though — 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP macro and depth units with a 13MP selfie camera at the front.
Display: 6.43 inches Super AMOLED, FHD+, 60Hz; 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution
Chipset: Helio G95 (2 x 2.05GHz Cortex-A76 & 6 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55)
GPU: Mali-G76 MC4
RAM: 6/8GB
Storage: 64/128GB
Rear Cameras: 64MP f/1.8 standard + 8MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor
Front: 13MP f/2.5 selfie camera
Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging (in-box)
Software: MIUI 12, Android 11
Besides that, one major difference here is on the inside. The Redmi Note 10S comes with MediaTek Helio G95 with 6GB of RAM in place of the Snapdragon 678 on the regular model. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner here as well.
