“With our newest Nokia phone you will never need a case again,” said the recent tweet from Nokia Mobile. Nokia even revealed the launch date in the same post, which happens to be 27 July 2021. Clearly, Nokia is coming up with a rugged smartphone one of which could be the Nokia XR20, suggests a Nokia community forum.
The forum post disclosed an image of the device placed upon a surface with water on it. It also shows plenty of water droplets on the device itself. So, we can expect at least the IP68 certification. However, it doesn’t resonate with the one seen in the original teaser. Just look at the camera module!
Going with the leaked image, the XR20 has a speaker grille, Type-C port, headphone jack at the bottom, and a power button on the left side. Similarly, it’s said to be powered by Snapdragon 480 5G chipset.
The device will carry a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel at the front while a couple of 48MP and 13MP shooters at the back. Not to mention a 5,000mAh cell keeping the lights on.
For now, we lack official details of the smartphone including the price of course. However, they will unfold pretty soon given the launch date in July itself. So, be with us for further details.
