The all-new Tata Safari third-gen 2021 edition has officially been launched in Nepal. The premium SUV is developed on OMEGARC architecture borrowed from Tata’s own Land Rover. In case you didn’t know, Tata’s other SUV, Harrier (H5) is also built upon the same.
The Tata Safari 2021 is powered by a 2.0-liter Kryotec turbo-diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, thus translating to its 170hp power. It ships in two different seat arrangements — 7-seater with bench seats and 6-seater with captain seats whilst the interior flaunts an Oyster White theme, not to mention the Ash Wood dashboard as well as an 8-inch touch infotainment system.
The exterior carries a vertical tailgate, stepped roof, and revised rear.
The XZ+ trim introduces an adventure edition aka Adventure Persona edition that boasts R18 tinted charcoal gray machined alloys and piano black finish across the outer door handles, roof rails inserts, and grille, while the Safari mascot on the bonnet. Its earthy brown interior has dark chrome interior accents across air vents, switches, inner door handle, instrument cluster, and knob. The floor console frame, grab handles, and steering, on the other hand, get a piano black finish.
The Tata Safari 2021 ships in 9 different models in Nepal ranging from a price of NPR 81,99,000 all the way up to NPR 96,50,000.
