Vivo has announced a new addition to its Y12 smartphone line, the Vivo Y12G. The smartphone is already available for purchase in India via Vivo’s official website. It’s much similar to the Y12s 2021 that was released in Vietnam in May. Now before we move any further, let’s take a quick overview of the smartphone.
Overview
The Vivo Y12G comes with a 6.51-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The display flaunts a dew-drop notch at the top that houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Similarly, at the back lies a dual-camera setup including a 13MP wide and a 2MP depth sensor.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset coupled up with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSDXC slot, while it runs on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11.
It uses a 5,000mAh battery to keep its lights on and charges via a microUSB port with 5W reverse wired charging support.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
