YesCart, a new e-commerce platform has made its way to the Nepali market. A product of IoT Incorporation Pvt. Ltd. which is a subsidiary of Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd. (also responsible for Xiaomi phone in Nepal), YesCart pledges to provide a one-stop online platform for genuine products.
Mr. Saral Acharya, Head of E-Commerce, IoT Incorporation Pvt. Ltd., during the launch event, mentioned its recent survey among a group of 500 people, 67% of which reported issues akin to quality in online shopping in Nepal, not to mention payment and delivery too.
YesCart is dedicated to solving the same given its core business module that brings in authentic brands and products whilst offers quick delivery (maximum 48 hours within Kathmandu valley), seamless payment, and easy return and refund. For now, you get to use eSewa and Khalti for online payment or pay cash right on delivery. Of course, bank payments will be integrated in the coming days.
YesCart says that they will mostly be focusing on millennials and Gen Z customers, given the increase in popularity of online shopping in this segment of the population to say nothing of the internet usage and online stores.
Similarly, YesCart is already capable of a running start in Nepal owing to the fact that it’s backed by the Sharda Group, a well-known business conglomerate in the nation. Plus the website and the mobile application are intuitive, fast, and most importantly secure. However, it’s yet to make the Apple App Store.
The platform has already collaborated with nearly 30 suppliers to sell home appliances and consumer electronics including refrigerators, washing machines, wearables, televisions, smartphones, and more. Moreover, you can find products from the likes of Attire Nepal, Converse, Vans, Awei, etc.
As for the merchants, it provides an intuitive panel featuring customized campaigns, catalog management, and more.
YesCart is providing a redeemable early bird voucher worth NPR 200 to the ones that sign up to the platform. It promises loyalty bonuses to regular customers. Also, there is a 20% discount, i.e. up to NPR 500 on pre-payment using Khalti.
