Daraz Nepal has announced its full preparation for the upcoming 11.11 campaign, its biggest one-day sale amidst a grand press conference held at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel yesterday. Commencing on 11 November 2021 (25 Kartik 2078), the mega campaign will span for a 24-hour duration featuring discounts worth 5 crores on 11 lakh products including 11 TVS motorcycles as a mega giveaway.
Daraz is also organizing a GRAND GALA LIVE to provide a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience to its customers, not to mention a chance to win exciting rewards throughout the campaign. The Gala Live will feature media personalities including Suraj Singh Thakuri and Malvika Subba as hosts together with 11 other renowned celebrities. It will live-stream via the Daraz app on 10 November 2021.
Coming back to the event, it featured keynote speakers such as Mr. Lino Alhering, Managing Director, Mr. Temple Pyakuryal, Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Arun Phuyal, Head of Payment and Partnership, and Ms. Samjhana Subedi, Chief Customer Officer, Daraz, all giving their insights on Daraz’s preparedness for 11.11, Nepal’s biggest online sale campaign.
During the event, Alhering stated, “It’s time for 11.11 – the world’s biggest one-day sale. Meanwhile, Cheif Commercial Officer, Mr. Temple Pyakuryal shared a few words to announce this 11.11 to feature the exclusive launch of the new Realme GT 2 5G along with exclusive deals and offers on several other categories that include fashion, musical instruments, lifestyle, home decor, electronics, and so on.
Mr. Pyakural also mentioned the inclusion of 22 leading national and international brands like Samsung, Rohto, Philips, CG Digital, Lenovo, Wiresto, Ustra, Misha Fashion, TVS, Coca Cola, Sunsilk, all offering special deals on their products throughout the campaign.
Similarly, Mr. Arun Phuyal, Head of Payment and Partnerships, Daraz said, “This year’s mega giveaway is going to be the biggest, as with our exclusive partner TVS, we are giving away 11 TVS Raider Motorcycles amongst our lucky customers. It’s, unlike anything we’ve ever featured.” He added that the customers can even get additional discounts up to 15% (max NPR 3,000) on Debit Card and up to 15% (max NPR 3,500) on Credit Cart offered by 15 partner banks together with special discounts from digital wallets such as eSewa and IME Pay.
