Itel launched the new Itel A48 smartphone in the entry-level budget segment in Nepal. Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, the brand has been known to launch mobile phones in the budget category. The Itel A48 comes with pretty decent specs considering its price tag that includes a 6.1-inch HD+ screen, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a Unisoc SC9832e SoC.

Itel A48 has a 6.1-inch screen with 1,520 x 720 pixels resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is also a dew-drop notch at the front that houses a 5MP camera for selfies.
Running on the Android 10 Go edition, A48 is powered by a quad-core Unisoc SC9832e processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable using a microSD slot.
As for the optics, there is a dual-camera setup at the back, both 5MP units. Similarly, the front gets a 5MP snapper too housed within the water-drop notch.
