Realme Nepal is finally launching the Realme 9i in Nepal. The first to use Snapdragon 680 chipset, this mid-ranger pledges very good battery life as well as charging. The SoC is also said to deliver 25% more CPU performance than the predecessor, hence faster launch, page loading, and more.
Here we will take a brief overview of the Realme 9i followed by its price in Nepal and availability.
Realme 9i Overview
The Realme 9i has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with 2,412 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 480 nits peak brightness, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen is made up of Dragontrail Pro glass.
Running on Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11, 9i is powered by a Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G processor based on 6nm fabrication. The CPU is octa-core comprising four 2.4GHz Kryo 265 Gold and four 1.9GHz Kryo 265 Silver cores. Similarly, the smartphone uses Adreno 610 GPU for graphical processing.
Moving on, the handset comes in 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants; further expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot.
On to the optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back comprising an f/1.8 50MP wide shooter with PDAF, an f/2.4 2MP macro unit, and finally an f/2.4 2MP depth sensor. The rear module supports panorama and can capture up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
Similarly, the front gets an f/2.1 16MP wide sensor for selfies. This one also supports panorama and can capture up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The device uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP and LE, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm jack for connectivity.
A non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights on that supports 33W fast charging said to charge the smartphone up to 100% in 70 minutes as advertised.

While Realme Nepal has already announced the launch, the official price of the Realme 9i in Nepal remains undisclosed. However, looking at the prices of the same in India, we expect it to cost around NPR 25,999 for the highest memory variant.
