Xiaomi Smartphones Price in Nepal (2022)

Xiaomi Nepal releases new price list of its smartphones for 2022, particularly with temporary discounts on its Redmi Note 11 line, Xiaomi 12 line, and the newly launched Poco M5 on occasion of upcoming Tihar. The price cuts amount to NPR 1,000 on Redmi Note 11 series, NPR 3,000 on Xiaomi 12 series, and NPR 500 on Poco M5, effective from 10 October to 31 October 2022.

Mr. Amit Kumar Panda, Country General Manager of Xiaomi on the offer stated, “We are very thrilled to announce a temporary price cut in our smartphones this festive season, especially as Nepal’s most celebrated festival, Tihar is nearing. With this offer, we would want to provide our customers especially our Mi fans to buy their favorite Xiaomi product in a discounted price. I hope our consumers will grab this chance to buy something new and celebrate this Tihar.”

Redmi Note 11

The Redmi Note 11 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, ~84.5% screen-to-body ratio, ~409ppi density, 90Hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Running on MIUI 12 atop Android 11, the device is powered by Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G chipset based on 6nm fabrication. It’s an octa-core processor with 4 2.4GHz Kryo 265 Gold cores and 4 1.9GHz Kryo 265 Silver cores. Similarly, there is an Adreno 610 unit that handles the graphics.

Paired with the processor is 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is expandable via microSDXC using a dedicated slot.

Talking about the camera, there is a quad-camera setup at the back including an f/1.8 50MP wide snapper with PDAF, an f/2.2 8MP ultrawide shooter, an f/2.4 2MP macro sensor, and finally an f/2.4 2MP depth unit. Again, the front gets an f/2.4 13MP wide camera for selfies.

Note 11 uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, infrared port, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. And the sensors used are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The Redmi Note 11S comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 ratio, protected underneath a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 sheath.

Running on MIUI 13 on top of Android 11, Note 11S is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor based on 12nm process coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that is further expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. A Mali-G57 MC2 unit takes care of the graphics.

As for the optics, there is a quad-camera setup at the back comprising an f/1.9 108MP wide sensor with PDAF, an f/2.2 8MP ultrawide snapper, an f/2.4 2MP macro, and an f/2.4 2MP depth unit. It’s an octa-core processor with a single 3.00GHz Cortex-X2 cores, three 2.50GHz Cortex-A710 cores, and four 1.80GHz Cortex-A510 cores. An Adreno 730 unit handles the graphics.

On to the memory, there is a single 8GB/256GB memory configuration available.

As for the optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back comprising an f/1.9 50MP wide sensor with dual pixel PDAF and OIS, an f/2.4 13MP ultrawide snapper, and finally an f/2.4 5MP telephoto macro with AF. The rear module supports dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama whilst can capture up to 8K videos at 24fps, 4K videos at 30/60fps (HDR10+), 1080p videos at 30/120/240/960fps, and 720p videos at 1920fps.

Similarly, at the front lies a single f/2.5 32MP wide lens with HDR and panorama for selfies. This can record up to 1080p videos at 30/60fps and 720p videos at 120fps.
