After some hassle, Generation Next, the sole distributor of HTC phones in Nepal has officially unveiled three new speculated HTC phones in Nepal. The lineup includes the company’s own HTC U Play, HTC One X9, and HTC Desire 825. While the HTC U Play is still somewhat latest in the market, the remaining two smartphones are bit outdated, considering that both were launched a year ago in the global market.
HTC U Play
Being the latest from the list, the HTC U Play comes with some acceptable specs and a glossy body. The phone sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display layered with a Gorilla Glass protection. Underneath sits the mediocre MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core chipset paired up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As for the camera, the phone boasts a 16MP sensor both at the back and front, which is the best from the list. The phone boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2500mAh battery. The phone carries a price tag of Rs. 49,999, which, in my opinion, is a deal breaker for me.

The RAM is 3GB, whereas the onboard storage tends to be 32GB. The camera of the phone includes a 13MP sensor at the back and 5MP sensor at the front. The phone can be purchased for Rs. 28,600.
