After numerous exciting rumors, the LeEco Le Pro 3 is now official with full metal body. The new phone from LeEco was significantly hyped up for two reason – the first one was the phone being backed up by 8GB of RAM and the second one was the phone carrying a humongous battery of 5000mAh. While none of those rumors came out to be true, the new LeEco Le Pro 3 still live up to the expectation.
Talking about the existing specs the Le Pro 3 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display complemented by an appealing 2.5D curved glass. Right beneath the screen the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 821 overclocked at 2.35GHz, making it the second phone to be graced with such powerful chipset(after ZenFone 3 Deluxe). Even though the 8GB RAM rumors flies away, the phone is graciously powered by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. There’re also other variants including, 4GB RAM/32GB ROM, 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM/ 64GB ROM. All of them expandable via a microSD card.
Coming to the camera section the Le Pro 3 comes with a 16MP primary shooter with 0.1 second Phase-Detection Auto-Focus(PDAF) and other added advantages like Beauty mode, Sharpness tweaker, and even Gender Recognition. There’s also an 8MP front camera for decent selfies and video chats.
As far as design is concerned, the LeEco Le Pro 3 is fully crafted with metal brush finish and as claimed by the company the phone is made up of around 98% of metal. The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner and packs a decent 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support letting you charge the phone from 0 to 50% within 30 minutes.
Connectivity wise, the phone comes with a USB Type-C port, while the 3.5mm headphone is missing from the phone, the phone supports dual-SIM and is capable of running 4G at a max speed of 866 MBps. The phone also supports dual-band Wi-Fi.
With four different variants, the LeEco Le Pro 3 carries four different price tags. The base model which is 4GB RAM/ 32GB ROM is priced at $270, while the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM costs $300. Taking the level up the 6GB RAM/32GB ROM variant will cost you $375 and the 6GB RAM/64GB ROM is priced at $450. The phone can be pre-ordered from today but the company is yet to reveal the date of the availability of the phone.
