The much-anticipated Bajaj Dominar 250 has finally launched in Nepal. The cruiser bike borrows most of its features from the Bajaj Dominar 400, which was popular for its sporty yet powerful performance. Hansraj Hulaschand and Company Private Limited, the authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal have introduced Dominar 250 in two different colors – Red and Charcoal at a price of NPR 4,89,900.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 comes with a 248.77cc FI engine that is able to generate 27PS and 23.5Nm of peak torque. It’s a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine with twin spark, 4-valve, and DOHC. Leveraging the same, the motorcycle can speed up to 132kmph whilst reach 0 to 100kmph in a matter of around 10.5 seconds as advertised.
The front gets a mosaic-shaped design with a full LED headlamp and AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) technology to make heads turn when on the streets. Similarly, it brings spacecraft-inspired tank pad decals and twin-barrel exhaust for lasting impact.
The Dominar 250 uses a beam-type perimeter frame curated for riders’ comfort while riders can know details including time and trip via the secondary display.
As for safety, the motorcycle has bungee straps right under the seat that helps to secure gear during long-distance touring. The suspension of the bike offers telescopic 37mm USD front forks with 135mm travel and a multi-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear with 110mm wheel stroke.
The bike carries 17-inch tubeless tires, the front with a 300mm disc and the rear with a 230mm disc on top dual-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
