Honor released the new Honor Tablet X7 in China with a variant designed preferably for children with loads of features and educational material for kids. The front gets an LCD panel whilst the back is made up of metal with texture for superior grip. Similarly, the thickness and weight number to 8.5mm and 325gm respectively.
The Honor Tablet X7 carries an 8-inch LCD display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. To avoid the strain of the eyes, it comes with an in-built E-Book mode useful amid longer reading time.
Powered by MediaTek Helio P22T chipset the tablet has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot and it boots on Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 10.
As for the cameras, it has a single 5MP shooter with autofocus at the back and a 2MP unit with a fixed focus at the front for selfies.
The Honor Tablet X7 uses a 5,100mAh battery with 10W charging to keep its lights on charging via a micro-USB port. And you get a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
The Honor Tablet X7 is slated to go on sales in three different models — Wi-Fi only variant starting at CNY899 ($140/€115), 4G version starting at CNY1,199 ($185/€155), and kid-friendly variant for CNY999 ($155/€130). The kid variant will also ship with a silicone case.
