The Honor X series smartphone line including Honor X7, X8, and X9 has officially launched in Nepal. Released a while back in the international market, all three use Magic UI 4.2 built on top of Android 11 OS. Similarly, these are powered by Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G processor based on 6nm fabrication.
Here we will take a brief overview of each followed by price in Nepal and availability.
Honor X7 Overview
The Honor X7 comes with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1,600 pixels resolution, ~84.8% screen-to-body ratio, ~260ppi density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Running on Magic UI 4.2 atop Android 11, the device is powered by a 6nm-based Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage; expandable via microSDXC using a shared SIM slot.
Moving on to the optics, there is a quad-camera setup at the back that includes an f/1.8 48MP wide sensor with PDAF, f/2.2 5MP ultrawide lens, f/2.4 2MP macro shooter, and f/2.4 2MP depth unit. The rear module supports LED flash, HDR, and panorama. Similarly, it’s capable of capturing up to 1080p resolution videos at 30fps.
At the front lies an f/2.0 8MP wide shooter for selfies. It can also capture up to 1080p resolution videos at 30fps.
For connectivity, Honor X7 uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Honor X8 Overview
The Honor X8 has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 1,080 x 2,388 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and ~391ppi density.
The device also runs on Magic UI 4.2 on top of Android 11 whilst powered by a 6nm-based Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. The processor is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
As for the optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back comprising an f/1.8 64MP wide sensor with PDAF, an f/2.2 5MP ultrawide snapper, f/2.4 2MP macro, and finally f/2.4 2MP depth unit. The rear module supports LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
Similarly, there is a single f/2.5 16MP snapper at the front for selfies.

The final device to launch in the Honor X line, the Honor X9 carries a 6.81-inch IPS LCD screen with 1,080 x 2,388 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The handset runs on Magic UI 4.2 built on top of Android 11 whilst powered by a 6 nm-based Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is an Adreno 610 unit to handle the graphics.
At the back lies a quad-camera setup including an f/1.8 64MP wide sensor with PDAF, f/2.2 8MP ultrawide lens, f/2.4 2MP macro shooter, and finally f/2.4 2MP depth unit. The module is complemented with LED flash, panorama, and HDR. Similarly, the front gets an f/2.5 16MP snapper for selfies.
