Vivo Nepal launched the Vivo V23 5G in Nepal. This comes after the launch of Vivo V23e in the country as a new addition to the line. Priced at NPR 55,999, it’s skeptical to say how the device will perform in the Nepalese market given a range of other options in the similar price category.

The Vivo V23 5G comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. Measuring 157.2 x 72.4 x 7.4 mm in dimension, both its front and back are built with glasses, the former with Schott Xensation Up to be particular.
The handset boots on Funtouch 12 built on top of Android 12 OS and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor that is based on a 6nm process. It’s an octa-core chip with two 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Similarly, it’s paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. There is no option for the memory expansion though. For graphics, the device uses a Mali-G68 MC4 unit.
Moving on to the optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back that includes an f/1.9 64MP wide, f/2.2 8MP ultrawide, and f/2.4 2MP macro sensor. The module supports dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama. And it can record up to 4K videos at 30fps and 1080p videos at 30fps.
At the front lies a dual-camera setup comprising an f/2.0 50MP wide snapper with auto-focus along with an f/2.3 8MP ultrawide snapper. The module also supports dual-LED dual-tone flash and HDR whilst the video recording capabilities are up to 4K and 1080p resolutions, both at 30fps.
For connectivity, Vivo V23 5G uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
A Li-Po 4,200mAh battery keeps the lights on with up to 44W fast charging that is advertised to charge the cell from 1 to 68% in 30 minutes.
