Vivo has recently been in limelight of media due to it’s upcoming flagship – XPlay 5 which is touted to be the world’s first smartphone featuring 6GB of RAM. The smartphone once was rumored to be the early adopters of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset but it didn’t turned into reality and of course the Snapdragon 810 is no more a latest chipset from Qualcomm. However, the smartphone will still not be a slouch in terms of hardware it will be packing, as the smartphone is confirmed to have Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 820 as well as 6GB of monstrous RAM. As claimed by Vivo, the smartphone will be revealed on March 1.
Earlier, the benchmark reports of the smartphone showed us that the smartphone will be a hell of a beast in terms of power and performance. However, we were still waiting for the initial design of the smartphone and this time the new live photo of the smartphone has been leaked. It is near to the proof that Vivo XPlay 5 will feature a similar design as leaked in the photo.
We can clearly see that the smartphone has a slight curve upfront both sides as well as the capacitive buttons. As per the report, the smartphone will be featuring a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 16MP primary camera and a 8MP selfie shooter upfront alongside 6GB of RAM as well as Snapdragon 820 chipset.
As per the report, the smartphone is rumored to have a price tag of INR 50,000, which is a premium price tag and considering the competition from other brands like Huawei and Xiaomi, we believe the smartphone will be priced aggressively. The smartphone is set to be launched on March 1.
