Vivo has launched a couple of smartphones named – V3 and V3Max in Mumbai, India today. Even though both of these smartphones falls under midrange category, both phones features pretty good specs. Both Vivo V3 and V3Max has quite premium looks and feels quite sturdy, thanks to the metal bodies that these both phone features. Both of these phones comes with improved performance and slimmer bodies.
The V3 features a 5-inch 720p display and is smaller in size when compared with V3Max, measuring just 143.6x71x7.5mm. Inside, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 616 octa-core chipset alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable through a microSD card. The whole phone is powered by a 2,550mAh battery.
Looking at the V3Max, the phone is quite bigger in size (153.9×77.1×7.58mm) and features a 5.5-inch FullHD display alongside a 2.5D glass. Inside, the smartphone is powered by a comparatively powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset and features an impressive 4GB of RAM. The whole phone is powered by a beefier 3,000mAh battery.
Talking about camera, both of these phones is equipped with a 13MP primary sensor at back and as claimed by the company, the camera app just take 0.7 second to start and a mere 0.2 second for phase detection auto focus. Another notable feature that both of these phones has is a fingerprint scanner which is placed at the back of the phone and is quite fast with just 0.2 second read time.
In case you are wondering, both of these phones is integrated with a high class AK4375 audio chip, Dual SIM with 4G LTE support and a support for Quick Charge.
The V3 and V3Max will be released in eight countries including, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar. As claimed by the company, the Vivo V3 and V3Max will be priced $270 and $360 respectively. As for Nepal, there is no word of availability for these two phones since there is no Vivo distributor here.
