After the launch of Cloud Q11 and Aqua 4.5, Intex Nepal has quickly followed up with another smartphone — this time the Intex Aqua S2. Priced at Rs. 9,999 in Nepal the phone is one of the cheapest smartphones to come with a fingerprint scanner.
Despite housing a fingerprint scanner, the phone bears a disappointing display with a resolution of 480×584 pixels. Underneath, the phone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C chipset paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2,450mAh battery.
The phone sports a 5MP rear camera with f/2.8 aperture and dual-LED flash, while selfies are taken care by a 5MP front sensor tagged up with LED flash. The phone can handle dual SIM and supports 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and A-GPS.
The Intex Aqua S2 measures 9.65mm in terms of thickness and comes in three different color variants, including white, gold and champagne.
