Intex Nepal has officially launched the three new Aqua series phones in Nepal including Intex Aqua Ace, Aqua Ace Mini, and the Aqua Craze. All of the three smartphones can be purchased from Intex distributors located across Nepal.
Intex Aqua Ace
The first and high priced in the list is the new Aqua Ace with major highlights including 4G LTE support and the 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 both on the front and back. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6735 quad-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, while memory wise the phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot.
The phone sports a 13MP primary camera at the back with Samsung sensor, whilst the selfie department is taken care by a 5MP front camera. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a modest 2300mAh battery inside. Intex has also included a smart flip cover for the phone, inside the box. The handset can be purchased for the price of Rs. 13,599 in Nepal.
Intex Aqua Ace Mini
The miniature version of the Aqua Ace comes with some downgrades, while the only upgrade includes its 3000mAh battery. While the phone carries “Mini” branding you may be expecting the phone to have a small display, however, that’s not the case. The phone boasts a similar 5-inch HD IPS LCD display compared to AMOLED display of Aqua Ace. The phone is powered by similar MediaTek’s MT6735 quad-core chipset with less clock speed of 1.0GHz. The handset comes with downgraded 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Camera wise the device comes with an average 8MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. Up front, there’s a 5MP camera. Other noticeable features include the support for dual-SIM with 4G LTE connectivity (one SIM at a time) and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Intex Ace Mini carries a price tag of Rs. 13,499 in Nepal.
Intex Aqua Craze
The last and the inexpensive one from the list, the Intex Aqua Craze is a budge-oriented smartphone carrying a price tag of Rs. 10,199. The phone features a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The handset is powered by 1GHz quad-core processor(unspecified chipset), 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded through a microSD card slot.
The phone comes with an 8MP camera at the back with LED flash accompanied by a below average 2MP front camera. The phone also supports 4G connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, while being juiced up with 2,500mAh battery with 168 hours of impressive standby time.
