Suzuki Nepal has officially pulled the drape off their new cruiser bike the Intruder 150. The monstrous design of the bike is inspired by its big brothers; Intruder M800 and M1800. On the other hand, it uses the same engine from the popular Gixxer, thus making it powerful. This new cruiser heavyweight will go on sale in Nepal for Rs. 3,09,900.
The Intruder offers plethoras of features, including a digital instrument console borrowed from Gixxer, an LED tail-light, and also ABS. It is safe to say that none of these features is provided by other bikes from the same segment, thus providing an edge over its competition. However, the premium features have put the Intruder on a pricier side, making it a bit more expensive than its direct competitor, the Bajaj Avenger.
Powering the Intruder is the Gixxer’s 154.9cc air-cooled engine which produces 14.8hp at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm and misses out the fuel injection. The Intruder is targeted at those seeking a stylish, relaxed weekend motorcycle.
