Realme has officially unveiled the Realme 3 in Nepal, a mid-ranger in Realme’s stark lineup of smartphones. The handset was already available in the Indian market and now it is available for Nepali audiences for a decent price.
However, unlike the Indian variants with Helio P70, this one has an Helio P60 chipset, also seen inside Realme 1. It’s not an improvement over its predecessor whatsoever but the RAM of up to 4GB could provide a bit of power for multitasking. The 4GB of RAM sits there alongside a 64GB of onboard storage. The phone also has a 3GB/32GB variant for a less price.
Camera wise you get dual sensors at the rear. There’s a 13MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Likewise, the camera hardware is supported by software features like Nightscape mode and Chroma Boost. The front gets a 13MP selfie camera that has AI-features which also works as a facial scanner but there’s a fingerprint scanner at the back as well.
Talking about the front, the Realme 3 has 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution and a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Up top, there’s a waterdrop notch which also happens to hide the selfie camera.
Besides that, the phone gets a huge 4,230mAh battery which will go hand-in-hand with its power efficient processor and low-res display. While the phone has a 10W charging adapter, it does not support fast charging. The phone boots Android 9 Pie out of the box on top of Color OS 6.
Realme 3 Price in Nepal and Availability
With two variants the phone goes for sale with two different pricing structure. The 3/32GB model goes for Rs. 19,690, whereas the 4/64GB variant will cost you Rs. 23,290 in Nepal.
