On recent news Microsoft has revealed more about the next-gen Xbox, Project Scarlett, to be more powerful than Xbox One X and have support for cross-gen gameplay.
Talking about the console, current head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed that the main goal for the new console is ensuring fast and highest frame rate (60 frames-per-sec). According to him, the new console will be 4 times as powerful as the Xbox One X.
Moreover, with backward compatibility, all four generations of Xbox users will have the opportunity to play alongside each other. Spencer quote, “Making sure that all four generations of content — so the original Xbox games that run on your Xbox One today, the OG Xbox; the 360 games that run on your Xbox One; your Xbox One games; and the new generation games — all run on the next platform is important to us.”
Adding to the topic, Spencer also points out to the fans that old controllers that they possess will have compatibility with the console and players having personalized controller will be made sure those are compatible in the future as well.
At last, Xbox is taking its console to a whole different level by providing these features to the fans.
