Realme’s new smartphone the GT Neo 2 is here in Nepal and it brings beefy specs to the table including the Snapdragon 870 chipset and 5,000mAh battery with amazing charging speed.
At the front, the screen of Realme GT Neo 2 sits at a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. It’s a Samsung panel that offers some features, i.e. 1,300 nits of peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 600Hz touch sampling rate. The top-left corner gets a punch-hole cutout with a selfie camera.
Talking about the cameras, though Realme didn’t talk much about it, it’s a usual 64MP main sensor with 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera.
Realme didn’t put much emphasis on talking about the cameras and it’s understandable as the GT Neo 2’s main focus is in terms of performance. And to push those pixels, we have a Snapdragon 870 chipset that clocks up to 3.2GHz, courtesy of the single Kryo 585 core. The chipset gets paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Churning out so much power is not something every smartphone can do, and even if it does, the heat it exerts is immeasurable. Realme, though, has its own answer — a cooling gel with actual diamond particles (sized 40-50 micron). It also has an aerospace-grade graphene sheet and a huge 4,129 sq. mm vapor cooling chamber.
Realme says that the solution will efficiently dissipate the heat and lower the temperature by up to 18 degrees Celsius. This allows the device to be 20% better than the vanilla Realme GT Neo.

Powering this heckuva phone is a 5,000mAh battery with 65W wired charging, which should fill the device from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes.
