InFocus – the company formed in partnership with Foxconn has officially unveiled its new smartphone dubbed as Epic 1 in India. The flagship from the company will be priced at INR. 12,999 and will go on sale through the e-commerce site Amazon.
The InFocus Epic 1 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a layer of Gorilla Glass on top. Inside, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core chipset accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB. Covered with the metal body the phone comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back with an impressive read speed of 0.1 seconds.
Camera wise the phone boasts a 16MP sensor at the back with f/2.0 lens, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) and dual-LED flash. Up front, the phone carries an 8MP camera with wide-angle lens for selfies.
Connectivity option includes dual hybrid SIM with 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n, A-GPS, Infrared sensor, and a USB Type-C port for data exchanging. The whole phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of InLife UI 2.0 and packs a 3,000mAh battery inside. The word about the availability of the device outside India is yet to be made, however, we can expect the phone to arrive in Nepal pretty soon.
