Nepali smartphone market is currently dominated by Chinese brands and we think that this won’t change soon. The new brand joining the competitive race is ZOPO who are currently targeting the Nepali consumers with their line of mid-range and high-end smartphones.
The ZOPO smartphones will be officially distributed by Apex Mobile Pvt. Ltd — a subsidiary of Apex Group Nepal. The company will reportedly launch three new smartphones within next week in Nepal. The three smartphone lineup includes Speed series, Color series and Flash series smartphones from the company.
However, ZOPO has already teased us with their new Color F5 smartphone listed on the e-commerce site Kaymu. The smartphone originally priced at Rs. 14,900 is being offered at Rs. 13,380 as a part of Kaymu’s Black Friday deals. The handset features 5-inch 720p display, MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8 MP back & 5MP front camera, 2100mAh battery, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Chinese brand ZOPO will go head to head against other mid-range and high range smartphones available in the market. The competitive market is surely a win-win situation for companies and most of the consumers who are wandering around for wide range of options. Stay tuned with us for further updates.
