OnePlus 3T has been officially launched in Nepal. The phone, which was launched back in November, last year can now be pre-ordered from Oliz Store at Rs. 54,900, while it will go on sale from 7th of March in Gun Metal color option.
Although the design and footprint of the phone resemble the OnePlus 3, the 3T comes with an upgraded chipset and camera. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. The first two cores of the chipset are clocked at 2.35GHz, whereas the remaining two bears a clock speed of 1.6GHz. Inside, it’s backed up with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB(currently 64GB variant is available in Nepal) of UFS 2.0 storage, without an option for expansion.
The OnePlus 3T’s camera has significantly improved upon its previous offering, boasting a 16MP Sony IMX 298 primary sensor with a plethora of features including f/2.2 lens, PDAF, Electronic Image Stabilization(EIS), OIS, and LED flash. The phone is also assured to provide an improved selfie experience, thanks to its 16MP sensor at the front with PDAF and EIS.
Other selling points of the phone include a fingerprint scanner, bottom facing Dirac HD speaker, and USB Type-C port for data exchange.
The phone boots on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box on top of Oxygen OS, while the Nougat update is already on the way. There’s also an upgraded 3400mAh battery inside which can be charged up to 50{36e0204d4787f73122fcb1e17fa2cf53ad675a621d12c60fa6f762fd2fe714bb} in just 30 minutes — courtesy of OnePlus Dash Charging technology. Connectivity option includes dual 4G LTE SIM support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and A-GPS.
