As speculated, Paramount Electronics, the sole distributor of Nokia phones in Nepal has gone on to officially unveil the updated model of ‘Classic’ Nokia 3310 in Nepal. According to Raj Kishor Sharma, the sales manager of Paramount Electronics, the handset has been introduced in Nepal for consumers who have been desperately waiting to get their hands on this nostalgic phone. He also mentioned that the remaining handsets from Nokia, including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will be announced in Nepal within this month of Jestha.
As stated, the Nokia 3 is expected to be priced at Rs. 16,000, while the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 is expected to cost around Rs. 22,000 and Rs. 26,000 respectively.
As far as specs are concerned, the Nokia 3310 is a feature phone with some basic specs. The rounded phone sports a 2.40-inch polarized and curved display, 16MB of memory, and 1200mAh battery with a ridiculous standby time of 1 month.
Although there’s nothing much to cheer about its 2MP rear camera, the phone, however, comes with a famous pre-installed Snake game. The dual-SIM phone supports Bluetooth, FM-Radio and microUSB 2.0 port for charging.
