Despite lacking bezel-less displays like Galaxy S8 and LG G6, and resembling its design with iPhone 7 and OPPO R11, the OnePlus 5 has been truly sought out in the international market.
Talking about the crowned jewel of the smartphone there’s a 16MP(f/1.7) & 20MP(f/2.0) dual telephoto lens which cohesively works to capture your photos exceptionally by allowing you to zoom in more — just like iPhone 7 Plus telephoto lens. There’s also a portrait mode, which creates a bokeh effect or a blurred background. OnePlus has also implemented the Sony IMX398 sensor, which shall increase the speed of autofocus by up to 40{36e0204d4787f73122fcb1e17fa2cf53ad675a621d12c60fa6f762fd2fe714bb}, while a larger aperture will help you capture bright images even in low light.
The phone has also a lot to offer selfie lovers as it boasts a 16MP camera at the front with an f/2.0 aperture rate capable of recording videos at Full-HD.
OnePlus 5 is also the slimmest from the company, measuring just 7.25mm in thickness. The slimness, however, has decreased the size of the battery to 3300mAh which is 100mAh less than the 3T. Despite that, it won’t be a deal-breaker for most of the users, as the phone comes with the Dash Charging support, providing you a full day power in just half an hour.
Underneath sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 dual-lane storage, meaning you are totally assured with a lag-free and buttery smooth experience. There’s also an 8GB variant of the smartphone, which is currently unavailable in Nepal.
The phone is powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box on top of OxygenOS. The company has made huge efforts in making the device as smooth as possible, which can be seen in most of the speed test videos. Further, OnePlus has also added reading mode, allowing e-book readers a comfort without the blue-light.
