YalaMart is the new Harilo. Harilo, which was initiated by Akshay Sthapit and Kim Smith back in the day was an online hit and most possibly a groundbreaking idea in Nepal. The online shopping portal, which was pretty much gaining the popularity, unexpectedly shut down its service a year ago. However, following similar footstep, Stebin Bajracharya, the then Manager at Harilo has started the YalaMart.
The company was taking orders through its Facebook page a couple of months ago, however, today it has officially introduced its new website. With the start of a new website, Stebin has assured that YalaMart will fulfil the same task as Harilo but with better features and facilities (the site’s pretty simple and straightforward).
If in case you are still wondering what YalaMart is about; it offers a similar experience as an online shopping site but in a different way. The e-commerce business allows users to order any products from international online sites like Amazon, eBay and Walmart and get it delivered to Nepal. In fact, there’s no limitation at all; you could order products of your choice from any US based stores. That’s pretty handy, especially for people who still fantasize about shopping their favourite stuff from online sites like Amazon in Nepal.
For more information, you can visit the company’s official website or Facebook page. And we would like to wish the whole YalaMart team a best of luck.
