Vivo launched its mini version of Vivo V9 smartphone named Vivo V9 Youth in Nepal with the price tag of 29,390 rupees. Vivo V9 Youth looks quite similar to the previously launched Vivo V9 but there are some notable reductions in its specifications as compared to it. So lets dig deeper to the phone’s specifications.
Body :
Its body is aluminium built and has glass at the front. It comes with the dual nano sim card support with dual stand by.
Display :
Vivo V9 Youth carries a 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support. Similarly, the screen resolution is 1080 x 2280 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio and 400 ppi density. The phones uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in order to protect the screen.
Software and System on a Chip :
The phone is packed with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and Funtouch OS 4.0 on top of that. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8 GHz. Also, it contains the Adreno 506 graphical processing unit for graphics processing.
Memory :
Vivo V9 Youth carries a 4GB of RAM and 32GB ROM. It also supports a dedicated microSD which is expandable upto 256GB.
Camera:
On the side of camera, the phone features 16 MP + 2 MP rear-faced camera with autofocus, phase detection, and dual LED flash. On the front, there is a 16 MP camera capable of capturing selfies with reasonable qualities. Also, the camera comes with the features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face-detection, HDR, panorama and so on.
On the bright side, it also carries a 3.5 mm headphone jack with active noise cancellation and dedicated mic support.
Vivo V9 Youth packs features such as a rear-mounted fingerprint; an accelerometer; gyroscope; proximity and compass sensor along with all the other features that we generally see in a phone of mid-range category, thus qualifies as a strong competitor in the mid-range smartphone market of Nepal.
