So finally Huawei has come up with an Android Go device in Nepal dubbed as the Huawei Y5 Lite which is the successor to last year’s Huawei Y5. And the ‘Lite’ moniker probably does justice with its name, featuring diminution in its specifications compared to its older counterpart. So let’s see what this new device has to offer.
Huawei Nova Y5 Lite features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 1440 x 720 resolution. The device runs on Android Go — a stock yet toned down version of Android platform based on 8.1 Oreo. The phone’s powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset. Rest of the specs of the phone are quite uncommon by today’s standard, including the 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. But since the device runs on Android Go it should be able to handle most of the [light-weight] apps pretty fine.
Similarly, the device features an 8MP camera on the rear side with LED flash. For selfies, there’s a 5MP front camera. As for the power, the Huawei Y5 Lite carries 3,020 mAh battery which should last you all day long.
