Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new 2019 Destini 125cc family scooter with i3s technology in Nepal at Rs. 2,06,000. The company states that the 125cc energy boost engine comes with a smart technology which results in fuel efficiency.
The family scooter gives the impression of being quite simple that embrace soft lines and curves throughout the metal body. The front design seems to be inspired from the Honda’s Activa 125 with the chrome settings which goes through the sidelights whereas the tail lamp and other parts get inspired from the Duet. The seat gets dual tone treatment and has a seat height of 778mm.
It features a semi-digital instrument cluster with a side stand indicator as well as a service-due indicator. Apart from that it gets external fueling system, remote key, under seat mobile charging, LED boot light with 19L boot space.
The Destini is powered by a 124.6cc Energy Boost Engine which produces a max power of 8.6PS and a peak torque of 10.2Nm. The engine is assisted by the Hero’s patented i3S start-stop technology to save fuel. The braking is taken care of by Hero’s Integrated Braking System and optional front disc brakes. The frame is balanced on telescopic front forks and a rear hydraulic shock absorber. The 10-inch wheels are matched with 90-section Ceat tubeless tires.
The Destini 125 will be available in five color options: red, brown, black, silver and white. The Destini will go head to head with the Honda Activa 125, TVS NTorq 125 and the popular Suzuki Access 125.
